An Award-Winning World-First In-Water Hull Cleaning System
The Envirocart™ System enables the complete in-water removal, capture, containment and filtration of marine biofouling from a vessel’s hull without damaging the antifouling paint or polluting the surrounding marine environment. The Envirocart™ System has been used to successfully clean numerous vessels in Australia.
The Envirocart™ System is revolutionising the international hull cleaning industry as we know it today.
This innovative technology tested and supported by the required regulatory certifications in hand, removes the very costly and time-consuming exercise of dry-docking commercial vessels for hull cleaning. This in turn enables a viable, regular, in-water cleaning maintenance protocol that significantly reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions, in the maritime sector.

Envirocart operates with a non-abrasive, patented blade technology which accelerates cleaning whilst protecting and revitalising the vessel’s AFS
The Envirocart system is tested to draw in all particles and test dye from 15cm and as far as 25cm from the operating heads, ensuring no dislodged particles are lost into the water body.
Enviro Hull offers 24hr cleaning service at no extra cost. Estimated 36hrs for a 250m vessel, depending on the degree of fouling.
Vessels are cleaned on anchorage or alongside in Saldanha Bay. Depending on availability, the preferred anchorage is in the inner basin. There is a dedicated berth for hull cleaning, should there be a requirement to be alongside.
Enviro Hull team operates from a barge tied up alongside your vessel.
The effluent will be filtered to 10 μm and denatured before returning to the ocean in a cleaner state than the surrounding harbour water.
